Benfica World is back for another season. After a short break, the "Benfica way" photos around the world are again up for voting.

Last season there were 195 photos in the competition and over 150,000 votes were cast. The winners of each edition were awarded with double tickets and had the opportunity to step on the pitch of Estádio da Luz on matchdays to tell the story behind their photo. The last winner also had the privilege of receiving a jersey signed by the entire 2022/23 squad.

With the start of the 2023/24 Championship, it is also time to resume the Benfica World initiative, which, as always, promises to offer many prizes.

"Benfica way" photos around the world should be sent to benficaworld@slbenfica.pt.

Preparing for a new clash

Benfica's professional football team began preparations for their clash with Auckland City on Friday, June 20, at 12 noon (5:00 pm continental time) at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, on matchday 2 of Group C of the 2025 Club World Cup with a two 30-minute halves training match against FC Naples on Tuesday, June 17. The Eagles won 2-1, with goals from Gonçalo Oliveira and Belotti.
