Five players from the professional football team of Benfica were called up for the international games of next September. Otamendi and Di María will defend Argentina, while Trubin and Musa are part of the plans of Ukraine and Croatia, respectively. Morato debuts in Brazil’s Under-23.

The two world champions were called up by coach Lionel Scaloni for the duels of Argentina against Ecuador (September 7) and Bolivia (September 12), both valid for the World'2026 qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Trubin is part of the Ukraine squad for the games against England (September 9) and Italy (September 12) in the race for a place in Euro '2024. Musa will play for Croatia against Latvia (September 8) and Armenia (September 11).

Making his debut for Brazil’s U23 national team, which is preparing for Paris Olympic Games, Moratowill have the opportunity to show off to coach Ramón Menezes in two friendly matches against Morocco’s U23 team, scheduled forSeptember 7 and 11.
