Musa: "We controlled the whole game and could have scored more goals"

Musa gave his analysis of Benfica's 1-2 win over Vizela on matchday 5 of the Liga Betclic, considering that the Eagles "could have scored more goals" in a "difficult" match.

"We're happy to take the three points home. It was a bit difficult after the international break, but we controlled the whole game and could have scored more [goals]. But in the end, the most important thing was to get the three points," he told Sport TV.

The Croatian international striker, who scored his 3rd goal of the 2023/24 season in five games, also pointed out that "every game is important" for the team. "Especially the ones we win! Of course, [the win] gives us confidence for the next game. Now we need to rest and focus on the next one," he said.

"I'm here to help the team. Whether I'm in the starting eleven or I come on, I'm always here to help the team. I'm very happy to score and that we won," he said.

Regarding the next official match, on Wednesday, September 20, against Salzburg, at 8 pm, at the Estádio da Luz, on matchday 1 of Group D of the Champions League, Musa left a guarantee.
