I'm delighted to congratulate our women's futsal team on winning the 8th Super Cup in our history.

This Sunday's victory crowns an absolutely memorable 2023 in the sport, in which we won all four national trophies.

All the athletes and staff are to be congratulated for contributing to yet another Super Cup at our Museum. Thank you all!

Benfica-Sporting: extended match highlights

At the Estádio da Luz, Benfica battled for victory until the last second against Sporting in the 33rd and penultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic 2024/25,but ended up having to share the points (1-1). Aktürkoğlu scored the goal for the eagles, finishing off a brilliant play by Pavlidis. The title will be decided in the final round.

Striking, impactful and very beautiful! On the Saturday of the derby at the Estádio da Luz, Jonas returned home once again and, before the starting whistle and at half-time of the Benfica-Sporting match on matchday 33 of the Liga Betclic, he was on the pitch, being greeted and cherished by the more than 63,000 fans in the stands. "Thank you all for your love and respect! I have a lot of love and gratitude for the Club", said Pistolas.

On Friday, May 9, Benfica's professional football team held another training session at the Benfica Campus ahead of the derby against Sporting, at Estádio da Luz. The clash, on matchday 33 of the Liga Betclic, is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, at 6 pm.

A night of glory! On Thursday, May 8, Benfica's women's volleyball team won the national championship at the Pavilhão n.º 2 da Luz! In an emotional match 5 that only ended in black, the Eagles triumphed 3-2 thus winning this frantic play-off final by the same score. 50 years after their last victory, the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião once again received the trophy for the National Women's Volleyball Championship. Liga BPI | Cristina Prieto receives trophy for Best Player

Elected Best Player of the Liga BPI 2024/25 in the vote organized by the Players' Union, Cristina Prieto, Benfica's women's football team, received the trophy at Benfica Campus. Grateful for the distinction, the Spanish international told BTV about her “good season” and didn't forget the rest of the Reds' players. "It's an individual award and I couldn't have won it without my teammates. It was the team that made me win this award," said the goalscorer, who is in her first season at the club. "You never think the first year will be like this. I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me and the Benfiquistas. It's an award that shows that the season went well," said Cristina Prieto, an important element in winning the Fifth League Title in a row.
