Benfica's Neres (Brazil) and Jurásek (Czechia) have been called up to represent their national teams in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the European Championship 2024, respectively.

Brazilian attacking midfielder for the Eagles, Neres has been called up by coach Fernando Diniz in place of Raphinha, who picked up an injure playing for Barcelona, and will be an option for Brazil's matches against Venezuela (October 12) and Uruguay (October 17), in Cuiabá and Montevideo.

Meanwhile, left-back Jurásek is part of coach Jaroslav Silhavy's plans for the Czech Republic's double-header in Group E of the race for a place in Germany: a trip to Albania (October 12) and the Faroe Islands (October 15).
