Seven players from Benfica's women's football team are on national coach Francisco Neto's squad list for the Nations League double-header against Austria. The Eagles are the most represented team.

Ana Seiça, Catarina Amado, Lúcia Alves, Andreia Norton, Andreia Faria, Francisca Nazareth and Jéssica Silva have been chosen to help Portugal in the matches against the Austrians, which are part of matchday 3 and 4 of Group 2 in League A of the competition. It's worth noting that Jéssica Silva is returning to the Portugal squad after missing the last game through injury.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 23, and the first match will be played on October 27, at 5:00 pm in mainland Portugal (6:00 pm local time), in Altach. Four days later, on October 31, at the Estádio Varzim SC, the roles are reversed, with Portugal hosting Austria at 6:15 pm.

After beating Norway 3-2 and losing 2-0 to France, the Navegadoras have three points and are in 2nd place in Group 2 of League A of the Nations League.
