The stage of dreams, the eagle's nest... it's our home, the home of the Mystique, the home of all Benfiquistas! A symbol of E Pluribus Unum, the new Cathedral, inaugurated 20 years ago, was born out of a dream come true and, just like the old Luz, came out of the skin, sweat, vision, heart and work of many people. Happy birthday, Estádio da Luz!

The Return of the Heroes: Simão and Cardozo

As part of the 20th anniversary of the new Cathedral, celebrated on October 25, the members of Sport Lisboa e Benfica had their say and selected 20 of the Club's players who stood out during this period. Simão and Cardozo were two of those chosen for the Champions Wall at Estádio da Luz and, in an informal conversation, they opened their hearts, and revealed stories, all on a bridge built between the past and the future, built of memories and memories lived with an eagle on their chest in the iconic venue...
