SL Benfica and Human Protocol announce partnership

Sport Lisboa e Benfica has established a partnership with Human Protocol, an organization of enormous relevance in the world of Web 3.0. With this agreement, the Club will be actively involved in the Newconomics 2023 event, which will take place on November 14 and 15 at the LX Factory in Alcântara, Lisbon.

The Club offers entry to the event to its members, subject to booking a ticket and presenting their membership card at the entrance.

SL Benfica will be present at Newconomics 2023 through the Head of Retail & Licensing, José Simão, who will share how SL Benfica began its journey on Web3 and how it sees the present and future considering the development since 2021.

At Newconomics 2023 there will also be a Benfica stand where some of the Web3 and Digital Assets projects will be presented.

Through this collaboration, SL Benfica seeks to leverage the power of NFTs and blockchain technology to increase fan engagement and create new digital experiences for its members and supporters. It also wants to explore the other advantages associated with this technology, given its tremendous potential.

The Newconomics 2023 conference will cover a variety of topics, including the democratization of DeFi, AI and collective intelligence, and how the next platform can be created while respecting user data. It will also discuss how "web giants" create new economies by working with emerging trends and, consequently, the impact this could have on the lives of millions of people facing global challenges.
