On Monday, December 18, Benfica will meet their opponents in the Europa League play-offs in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw takes place at noon in mainland Portugal.

With the 3rd place in Group D of the Champions League, the Reds have secured their place in the Europa League play-offs, where they will face one of the runners-up from the group stage of the competition, who are starting as seeded teams.
