Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement with Vasco da Gama, from Brazil, for the permanent transfer of the athlete João Victor.

Signed by the club in the summer of 2022, the center-back played five games with the eagle on his chest and was part of the squad that won the national title in May 2023.

Halfway through his first season with Benfica, João Victor was transferred to Nantes, in France, on a short-term loan deal. In the 2023 season, the defender made two appearances. Now the player is returning to Brazil to sign for Vasco da Gama.

SL Benfica wishes João Victor all the best in this new phase of his career.
