Luís Godinho, a referee from AF Évora, was appointed by the Portuguese Football Federation to officiate the Vitória SC-Benfica game, on matchday 21 of the Liga Betclic. The match takes place at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, at 8:30 pm on Sunday, February 11.

Rui Teixeira and Pedro Mota will be the assistants and David Silva the fourth official.

The video referee (VAR) will be Hugo Miguel, and the assistant (AVAR) Nuno Pires.

Day 1 of a new journey

The 2025/26 preseason officially kicked off on Monday, July 14, with medical checks and physical tests between Hospital da Luz and Benfica Campus. In an atmosphere of reunions, renewed energy, and focus on what comes next, 28 players are present on this first day of work of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Preparation will intensify on Tuesday, July 15, with the first pre-season training session scheduled for the morning, followed by another session in the afternoon at Benfica Campus.
