Fábio Veríssimo, a referee from AF Leiria, was appointed by the Portuguese Football Federation to officiate the Sporting-Benfica match, in the 1st leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals. The match takes place at the Estádio José Alvalade, at 8:45 pm on Thursday, February 29.

Pedro Martins and Hugo Marques will be the assistants and Hélder Malheiro the fourth official.

The video referee (VAR) will be Fábio Melo, and the assistant (AVAR) João Bessa Silva.
