TRAINING SESSION

This Wednesday morning, March 13, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team prepared the clash against Rangers, in the 2nd leg of the Europa League round of 16. Juan Bernat, undergoing treatment and gym work, was the only member of the squad who didn't make any progress on the pitch. Preparation at Benfica Campus before traveling to France

In preparation for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Marseille, the squad trained at the Benfica Campus on Wednesday morning, April 17. Tomás Araújo and Juan Bernat, undergoing treatment and gym work, were the members of the squad who didn't make any progress on the pitch. Diogo Spencer e Adrian Bajrami, B team players Diogo Spencer and Adrian Bajrami took part in the training session. The session preceded the Benfica squad's charter flight to France. Watch the video of the first minutes of the training session.

Preparations for the match against Marseille

The professional football squad of Benfica worked out this Wednesday, April 10, at the Benfica Campus (see first minutes here) ahead of the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Marseille. The clash with the French side will take place on Thursday, April 11, at the Estádio da Luz, at 8pm.

Rehearsal at Benfica Campus before heading to Scotland

Preparing to face Rangers in Glasgow in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16, he Benfica squad trained at the Benfica Campus on Wednesday morning, March 13, coach Roger Schmidt's 57th birthday date. Juan Bernat, undergoing treatment and exercises in the gym, was the only player who didn't take part in the training session on the pitch, ahead of the Benfica squad's charter flight to Scotland. Watch the video of the first open minutes of the training session here.

Preparing for the home match against Rangers

On Wednesday, March 6, Benfica's professional football team worked at the Benfica Campus (watch the first minutes here) for the match against Rangers, in the 1st leg of the Europa League round of 16. Juan Bernat was the only absentee due to injury. The clash with the Scots will be played this Thursday, March 7, at Estádio da Luz, at 8 pm.
