Benfica's women's basketball team won the Portuguese Cup after beating GDESSA, by 61-42, this Sunday, March 24, at the Palácio dos Desportos Helena Sentieiro, in Torres Novas.  It's the third time the Eagles have lifted the trophy, something they did in the 2021/22 season.

The Eagles are once again lifting the trophy, after being runners-up in 2022/23, against Quinta dos Lombos, and winners in 2021/22, precisely against GDESSA. Benfica's Letícia Soares was named MVP of the final.
