Congratulations to the Sport Lisboa e Benfica women's futsal team for winning the 8th Portuguese Cup!

It was with an enormous sense of responsibility that our team overcame the two opponents in this Final Four. At the Pavilhão Multiusos de Sines, in front of the support of dozens of Benfica fans, the women's futsal team deservedly lifted the trophy for the second year running, the eighth time in our history.

Congratulations to all the players and staff!

Portuguese internationals are back

The Portuguese internationals from Benfica's women's football team who represented Portugal in the 2025 European Championship are back. On Monday, July 28, Carole Costa, Catarina Amado, Lúcia Alves, Andreia Faria, Andreia Norton, Ana Borges, and Diana Silva underwent medical examinations—Diana Gomes had already done so—at Hospital da Luz. The physical tests, which are customary at the start of each preseason, took place at Benfica Campus on Tuesday, July 29.

After winning the Eusébio Cup, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team continued on Monday, July 28, the preparation for the official start of the 2025/26 season, which will begin with the Super Cup against Sporting, scheduled for 8:45 pm on Thursday, July 31, at the Estádio Algarve.
