Benfica's women's handball team became three-time National Champions on Saturday, May 18, after beating ABC de Braga, 25-29, at the Pavilhão Flávio Sá Leite Pavilion, in the 9th and penultimate round of Group A in the final phase of the Championship.

In doing so, the eagles sealed their victory and won the national championship - with one match still to play - for the third year in a row and the 10th time in their history!
