The celebration of the Portuguese Cup

The Roller Hockey teams of Benfica and Sporting played this Sunday afternoon, July 3, in Pavilhão Municipal Leonel Fernandes, the Portuguese Cup Final. Thereds won1-3, with goals by Cata Flores, Maria Sofia Silva and Marlene Sousa.

Women's Roller Hockey: 7th Cup for the Museum!

At Pavilhão Ventosa do Bairro, in Mealhada, the Women’s Roller Hockey team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica beat Infante Sagres, by 7-0, and won the 7th Portuguese Cup of its honors. The goals were scored by Marlene Sousa (3), Maria Sofia Silva, Flor Felamini, Maca Ramos and Maria Inês Severino.

Benfica was clearly better and secured a 7-0 win in the final against Infante Sagres.

Benfica and Sporting face each other in the semi-final of the Portuguese Cup, a match scheduled for July 10.
