Scorer of Benfica's winning goal against Estrela da Amadora (1-0), in matchday 3 of the Liga Betclic, Kökcü, voted Man of the Match, analyzed the clash.
In the flash interview area at the Estádio da Luz on Saturday night, August 24, the midfielder said that the team had more possession and created "a few chances", but that they were unable to "score more goals".
“We have to be happy with the three points, and that's how we are”, he told BTV.
Kökcü considered it “important” to have scored the winning goal for the eagles – his first in the 2024/25 season – and was “happy to have started the season in a good way”.
“I always want to give something to the club and the fans. I hope I can show good performances to the fans and everyone”, said the Turkish international.
