Aktürkoğlu in action against Montenegro
Trubin was in fine form in Albania-Ukraine (1-2 win) and was only beaten from the penalty spot on matchday 6 of Group B1 of the Nations League. With the three points, the Ukrainian side finished in 2nd place with 8 points. Bajrami was not an option in the Albanian national team.
In the same competition, on matchday 6 of Group B4, Turkey fielded Kökcü and Aktürkoğlu in the starting lineup in the defeat in Montenegro (3-1). The midfielder provided the assist for Yildiz's goal and was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, just like his Benfica compatriot. Turkey finished the competition in 2nd place with 11 points.
Schjelderup also played the full 90 minutes in the second leg of the qualifying play-off for the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship against Finland, which ended in a 2-1 win for Norway, but fell by the wayside after a 5-1 defeat in the first leg.
