Benfica will take on Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the last 32 of the UEFA Youth League. The match will be played in the Netherlands on February 11 or 12. The draw took place on Friday, December 20, at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

 AZ Alkmaar made their way along the National Champions path and eliminated Stromsgodset (V 1-4 and V 4-1) and Manchester United (V 2-1 and E 0-0).

This will be a clash between two winners of the competition. Benfica won the competition in 2021/22, having been finalists in 2013/14, 2016/17 and 2019/20, while AZ Alkmaar did so in the 2022/23 season.
