Schjelderup spoke at the end of Farense-Benfica in the last 16 of the Portuguese Cup, in which he started Benfica's comeback.

Schjelderup celebrates with Álvaro Carreras
The good response from the Algarve side, especially in the first half, which ended with the team from Faro in front, didn't catch the Norwegian striker off guard.
"We knew that the visit to Farense would be a very difficult game, but we always believed and kept pressing, and then the goals would come. And they came, and we quickly turned the tables, so we're very happy to be through to the next round," he began by explaining to the RTP reporter in the quick interview at the end of the game.
SCHJELDERUP'S GOAL
Humble, Schjelderup doesn't think it was his goal that motivated the Reds' victory: "No, I think it helped us turn the game around quickly. Of course, the goal made it 1-1, and then it became 1-2, that's football, it changes quickly, but I'm very happy to help the team."
But when asked, after two consecutive games of scoring, if he's experiencing his best moment with an eagle on his chest, the young goalscorer has no doubts: "Of course, of course, I'm very happy at Benfica, I'm playing, I'm scoring goals, I'm helping the team and the coach, and that's what I really want to do, work hard in every training session and every game to win titles here and win games."
Immediately afterward, he showed that he wasn't dazzled and kept his feet on the ground, rejecting the idea that he had already secured a place in the starting eleven: "No, I'm always ready when the coach calls me, whether it's for the next game on the bench or as a starter. I'm always ready to help the team if they need me or if the coach wants me to play. I'm always ready"
