Around 40 seconds with the ball, 11 passes, a shot... and the opposition's net swinging - that's how the Eagles reached the thousand and a half goals mark in the Portuguese Cup, on the night they eliminated Farense in the last 16 of this season's edition.

Benfica team celebrate three goals in Faro
In the 56th minute, Benfica were looking to equalize when António Silva rwon the ball back and launched another attack for Bruno Lage's men. Building up from the back, the Portuguese international looked for width in the central corridor, laying the ball off to right-back Bah. He made progress in possession and waited for Aursne's lateral support for a combination and collect the ball, before passing it back to António Silva.
The No.4, under pressure, put the ball to the left-sided central defender, Otamendi, who, also under pressure from the proximity of an opponent, passed the ball to Florentino, who received it near the penalty arch.
The defensive midfielder received the ball, broke the opposition's pressure, and opened up to the right, where Bah received and returned to António Silva, who switched to Otamendi. There, on the left, the captain passed the ball to Barreiro. The Luxembourg international midfielder advanced down the left flank, outpaced two defenders and opened up for Schjelderup – the Man of the Match for the fans.
Close to the edge of the area, Schjelderup received the ball, placing it at the mercy of a drift towards the center and finishing with power and pace, scoring an excellent goal - the ball even touched the bar before hitting the net defended by Ricardo Velho - after a play that involved 11 passes, built in around 40 seconds from the recovery of the ball, without losing it.
