Barreiro scored a hat-trick in Benfica's 4-0 win over Famalicão on matchday 18 of the Liga Betclic.

Barreiro scored a hat-trick
In a quick interview with BTV's microphone at the end of the match, which Benfica won 4-0, the hero of the night commented on the unprecedented feat. "I think I'm still dreaming, to be honest... Wow, I don't even know what to say! Scoring three goals... I'd already scored one goal in a game in my career, but now three in one game, I don't even know what to say," he started by saying, and then explain how a defensive midfielder scored a perfect hat-trick, without any other goal - either by an opponent or a teammate - interrupting the triple streak: "After the first one, there was an action, I scored the second one, and then my teammates were already saying 'Look, go for the third one, go for the third one'. There are days like this, I'm very happy."
BARREIRO'S HAT-TRICK
Although the moment is special and deserves to be savored, Barreiro has already focused on next Tuesday's European mission, the match against Barcelona on matchday 7 of the Champions League, emphasizing this season's motto: Everyone counts!
"We won today, it was very important to do our job, but in a few days we have another important game in the Champions League, and we need everyone - us on the pitch and the fans outside - to support us in the easy moments, but also in the less good moments, as I've also said on my social media, we need everyone," stressed the number 18.
