Sport Lisboa e Benfica's new addition for the defense, Dahl, the Swedish international left-back, marveled at the size of the Glorioso, praising the ambition to “win every game” with an eagle on his chest

The 21-year-old, who arrives at Estádio da Luz on loan from AS Roma until the end of the season, presented himself as a player and left a message for the Benfica fans.

"I'm very happy to be here, at this club, with a fantastic history and this level of football. It's really amazing to be here," saidDahl, à BTV.

What do you know about Benfica as a club, but also about this season's team?

Yes, it's a massive club, with a great history, with lots of good players who play here. Who are nurtured at the academy [Benfica Campus] and who play here. The team has a lot of youngsters, also some Scandinavian players, and legends like Otamendi and Di María. It's amazing to be here.

What is your DNA as a player? How do you define yourself?

As a fast, quick-thinking player. With good technique. And I think I'll certainly be able to provide offensive support and surprise many defensively.

He played at the Olimpico in Rome, now he's going to play at the Estádio da Luz. Not bad for a 21-year-old who started out at Vasteras.

Yes, it's true, the last few years have passed quickly. I feel happy and blessed to have this opportunity to do what I love. It's amazing.

What are your main goals for the second half of the season?

Clearly, to win every game. That's why I'm here and that's the club's goal.
