BENFICA'S TRAINING SESSION

On Monday morning, February 17, Benfica's professional football team prepared at the Benfica Campus for the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Monaco. Watch or review the first 15 minutes of the training session, which was open to the media on the eve of the match at the Estádio da Luz.

The academy players present at this training session were: Leandro Santos (right-back), Gonçalo Oliveira (center-back), Nuno Félix (midfielder), Tiago Freitas (midfielder) and Diogo Prioste (midfielder). On the other hand, the following players were absent: Bah, Manu, Florentino, Aursnes, Renato Sanches, Tiago Gouveia and Di María.

Fine-tuning the last details to face Juventus

On the morning of Tuesday, January 28, Benfica's professional football team continued their preparations for the match against Juventus, on matchday 8 of the Champions League league phase, scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, at 8 pm, at the Juventus Stadium. Tiago Gouveia e Renato Sanches, Injured Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches were absent from the training session held on the Benfica Campus. On the other hand, the youngsters Leandro Santos, João Fonseca and Nuno Félix were called up. Watch the video here.

Preparations for the clash with Barcelona

On the morning of Monday, January 20, Benfica's professional football team continued, in the rain, to prepare for the clash with Barcelona, on matchday 7 of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, were not part of the training session at Benfica Campus, which was attended by youngsters João Fonseca, Nuno Félix, Leandro Santos, Francisco Domingues, Tiago Freitas and Eduardo Fernandes. Operation Bologna: final preparations

On the morning of Tuesday, December 10, Benfica's professional football team finalized preparations for the match against Bologna, on matchday 6 of the Champions League league phase, scheduled for 8 pm on Wednesday, December 11, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, didn't take part in the training session on the Benfica Campus pitch, where young midfielder Diogo Prioste, from the B team, was called up.
