As part of the celebration of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's 121st anniversary, the Cosme Damião Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, March 20, to distinguish those who, through their achievements and merit, raised the Club's name in 2024. I don't pretend to be modest, I like to be recognized, I like to be greeted, I have to realize that I'm known all over the world. But I only became big because of our great club."

8:05 pm | There were 34 candidates on the ballot, divided into eight different categories: Breakthrough in Men's Football, Breakthrough in Women's Football, Breakthrough in Indoor Sports, High-Performance Athlete, Coach, Men's Footballer, and Women's Footballer. There will also be direct awards..
