Five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team faced SC Braga on Sunday, May 11, in the 22nd and final matchday of the Liga BPI, at the Estádio Amélia Morais. The Inspiradoras won 1-2 to finish the championship unbeaten. Cristina Prieto was the competition's top scorer with 19 goals.

Invincibles. In their 22 Liga BPI matches, the Eagles have won 20 and drawn two. The latest triumph was sealed this Sunday morning in Minho.

Liga BPI: Best Coaching Staff in October and November

With five wins in as many games played by Benfica in the competition during October and November 2024, coach Filipa Patão received the award for Best Coaching Staff in the Liga BPI - which she leads with a 100 percent winning record. The coach was grateful for the award, praising “a group that works every day to try to be better”. "I think this team has always been very ambitious and has always been hungry for titles, to win more, to look forward and to put new goals on the table. That's the secret," said the coach of the four-time national champions. Filipa Patão also received the most votes in August and September.
