Eagles in action for their national teams

On Friday, June 6, Barreiro and Prestianni, players from Benfica, competed for their respective national teams.

Barreiro started in Luxembourg's match against Slovenia, which took place at the Luxembourg Stadium. The midfielder played until the 71st minute, when he was subbed off, with his team losing 0-1.

It should be noted that Tomás Cruz, midfielder for the Under-23s, also played for Luxembourg. The young midfielder was part of Luc Holtz's starting lineup and was substituted in the 89th minute.

With Argentina's Under-20 team, Prestianni was part of the  starting XI that faced off against their Australian counterparts in Buenos Aires.

At the Lionel Andrés Messi Sports Complex in Ezeiza, this friendly match ended with a 2-1 victory for the South Americans.

Schjelderup did not play in Norway's home game against Italy, Group I Matchday 3, valid for qualification for the 2026 World Cup. At the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo, the Italians were defeated 3-0. Norway has 9 points and leads the group.

Called up for Sweden's double header, Dahl was an unused substitute in the friendly against Hungary, which took place at the Puskás Arena. The Nordic side won 0-2.
