Benfica's professional football team continues its preparations for the Club World Cup, in Tampa, Florida, and now includes international players Trubin, António Silva, Kökcü, Pavlidis, Aktürkoğlu, Barreiro, Schjelderup, Dahl, and Bajrami. On the other hand, Rui Silva, Nuno Félix, and Eduardo Fernandes - all registered players - have left the training camp.

Coach Bruno Lage now has 28 players at his disposal in the squad, ahead of the Eagles' debut in the Club World Cup, scheduled for 11 pm continental time (6 pm local time) on Monday, June 16, against Boca Juniors in Miami.
