With his permanent transfer to Benfica until 2029 now official, Dahl expressed his delight at continuing to wear the eagle on his chest, focusing on each of the matches to be played in the Club World Cup.

What do you think of this new format for the FIFA Club World Cup? It will be a new adventure for everyone. What are your expectations?

I'm very happy to be here, I'm excited. Let's see how it goes. I'm just focused on the games, and we'll see.

You arrived a few months ago and have already signed a [permanent] contract with Benfica. How do you feel? Was it a surprise for you, so quickly? How do you feel?

I am very happy. Since I arrived, everyone has welcomed me with open arms. I had a few minutes, and I am happy to be here. Now we are here, so I am excited about the future.

Do you expect to get more minutes next season?

Yes, of course. That's my goal. I always want to play, and we'll see how it goes. It's not my decision, so I'll give my best every day.

Are you ready to be in the starting lineup more often?

[Smiles] If you ask me, yes. Then we'll see how it goes.

Is it possible to win the Club World Cup?

Let's take it one game at a time. We have a game in three days' time, and we're going to focus on that. Then we have two more games in the group stage, so we'll see how it goes.

How does the group feel about this temperature and this weather?

The group is doing well. I arrived yesterday [Thursday] evening, and everyone was happy. Now it's time to train. I haven't trained in this heat yet, but we'll see how it goes.

You have played in two different positions since arriving at Benfica. Which one do you feel more confident in?

I can't choose between the two, but I feel very comfortable in both. Just being on the field is my goal. I'm happy to be here and excited.
