FIFA has appointed French referee François Letexier (36), who has been an international referee since 2017, to referee the game from matchday 3 of Group C of the Club World Cup between Benfica and Bayern Munich, at 8 pm mainland Portugal (3 pm local time) on Tuesday, June 24, at the Bank of America Stadium, in Charlotte.

The refereeing team for the match also includes Frenchmen Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni as assistant referees, and Norwegian Espen Eskas as fourth official.
