A starter in Benfica's victory over Auckland City (6-0), Prestianni assured that the Eagles “will do everything to win” the match against Bayern Munich on matchday 3 of Group C of the 2025 Club World Cup.

The Reds forward assured that “the team is doing very well” in statements he made before the morning training, at the Waters Sportsplex in Tampa, Florida. Prestianni also stressed that the team will “do everything” to beat the Bavarian side on Tuesday, June 24, at 3:00 pm local time (8:00 pm continental time) at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

What are your expectations for the game against Bayern Munich?

Expectations are high. We know we have to take the field to win, regardless of who the opponent is. We are very calm and will do everything we can to win.

How is the atmosphere after what happened with Kökcü?

The atmosphere is very good.  They've said everything they had to say, and the team is doing very well, very happy and eager to play against Bayern and win.

They have never beaten Bayern Munich. What are your expectations for this match? Especially since the team is well on its way to advancing in the competition.

We know everything we have to do. The whole team knows what we have to do to get through the group stage, which is our first objective. So we know what we have to do, and we will do everything we can to get through.

What did Kökcü say to the players and the coach?

He apologized for what happened on the field, and the team accepted it very well. We are all doing very well.

How has this experience been at the Club World Cup?

Very well, actually. It's my first Club World Cup with Benfica, and I'm very happy.
