Benfica forward Di María has been selected for the best eleven of matchday 2 of the group stage of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

In this round, the number 11 scored two goals in the Eagles' 6-0 victory over New Zealand's Auckland City on June 20 in Orlando, receiving the Player of the Match award.

With three goals scored – one in the opening match against Boca Juniors – Di María tops the competition's scoring charts.
