Sport Lisboa e Benfica announces that has reached an agreement with FC Alverca for the loan of player André Gomes. The temporary transfer is valid for one season – until the end of 2025/26 – with no option to buy.

In the 2024/25 season, the 20-year-old goalkeeper made in Benfica, debuted for the Eagles' first team, coming on in the 79th minute of the second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-final against Tirsense (4-0). In the same season, André Gomes also played in 31 games for Benfica B in Liga 2.
