HIGHLIGHTS

SL Benfica's professional football squad continued their pre-season work on Saturday, July 19, at Benfica Campus, with a double training session, morning and afternoon, on a day marked by Barrenechea's integration.

The group led by Bruno Lage welcomed the midfielder recruited from Aston Villa on the sixth day of preparation for the 2025/26 preseason.

This Sunday, July 20, will be a day off.

Preparing for the Algarve Trophy

Having won the 12th edition of the Eusébio Cup, thanks to an outstanding display and victory over Feyenoord at Estádio da Luz last Sunday night, Benfica's squad resumed work on Tuesday, July 30, in preparation for the pre-season clash with Fulham in the Algarve Trophy, scheduled for 8 pm on Friday, August 2, at the Estádio Algarve.
