The UEFA Referees Committee has appointed referee Daniel Siebert (41), who has been an international referee since 2015, to officiate the first leg of the Champions League play-off between Benfica and Fenerbahçe, next Wednesday at 8 pm, August 20, at the Sükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium in Turkey.

The refereeing team for the match also includes Jan Seidel and Dominik Schaal as assistant referees and Daniel Schlager as the fourth official.

Christian Dingert from Germany will be the video assistant referee (VAR) and his compatriot Johann Pfeifer will be the AVAR.
