Sudakov and Trubin
Starting alongside teammate Trubin, Sudakov scored Ukraine's goal in the draw against Azerbaijan (1-1): in the 51st minute, the midfielder appeared well in the box and shot close to the right post. The two Benfica players played the full 90 minutes in the game that earned Ukraine their first point in Group D of the UEFA qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
In Zenica, Dedic played at right-back for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first 58 minutes of their 2-1 home defeat to Austria. Despite the result, Bosnia remain top of Group H with 12 points after five games.
Coming on in the 87th minute, António Silva collected minutes for the national team in their 3-2 victory over Hungary in Budapest. The win in the second round of Group F allowed Portugal to continue their 100% winning record.
In the most lopsided result of this edition of the European qualifiers, Norway thrashed Moldova 11-1 in Oslo. Schjelderup came off the bench in the 73rd minute, in time to participate in the Norwegians' fifth victory in five matches played in Group I.
Gonçalo Oliveira was once again in the starting lineup for Portugal's Under-21 team and played the entire match in the 2-1 victory over Scotland in Motherwell. With six points earned in two rounds, Portugal is in first place in Group B of the 2027 Euro qualifiers.
Spain's Under-21 team has the same record in qualification, with Obrador playing the full 90 minutes in their 3-1 win over Kosovo in the second round of Group A.
Selected for the starting eleven (was replaced at half-time), João Rego played in Portugal's U20 victory over Poland, 1-2, in a match in which Leandro Santos also played: he came off the bench in the 87th minute. Gustavo Ferreira and Gonçalo Moreira, players from Benfica's Youth Training, scored Portugal's goals in the Elite League match.
Finally, Diogo Ferreira started for Portugal's U19 team and played the full 90 minutes in the 6-5 defeat to Serbia in the third and final match of the 31st edition of the Stevan Vilotic-Cele Tournament. Rui Silva and Francisco Silva, players from the Eagles' youth training, scored in this match.
