This Saturday, September 27, Benfica secured their place in the Elite Cup final by beating Oliveirense 2-3 in the semi-final of the competition, played at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas.

Oliveirense went for a 5-4 win in the final minute, but the Eagles won 2-3 and secured their place in the final, scheduled for this Sunday, September 28, at 7:00 pm, at the same venue. Sporting, who beat FC Porto 2-1 in the other semifinal, will be their opponents.

On Thursday, September 25, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team continued their preparations for the home game against Gil Vicente, in a match from round 7 of the Liga Betclic, scheduled for Friday, September 26, at 8:15 pm, at Estádio da Luz. At Benfica Campus, Gonçalo Moreira, a player from the B team, joined the training session, which was marked by concentration and intensity, while Bah, Manu, Bruma, and Nuno Félix did not participate in the session as they are recovering from their respective injuries.
