António Silva, a defender from Sport Lisboa e Benfica has been called up to represent the National Team in the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup against Ireland and Hungary.

In Group F of the World Cup qualifiers, Portugal will host Ireland on October 11, at 7:45 p.m., at the Estádio José Alvalade, in a match on Matchday 3. On October 14, at the same venue and at the same time, the Portuguese team will face Hungary in a Matchday 4 game.
