BENFICA TRAINING SESSION

On Monday, October 20, at Benfica Campus, the Benfica professional football team is preparing for the match against Newcastle, on matchday 3 of the Champions League league phase, to be played at St. James' Park. Watch or rewatch the first minutes of the training session open to the media here.

BEING UPDATED

Manu, who is undergoing a gradual return to action, and Bah, who is training individually, were present at the training session. Ivan Lima, a player from the B team, also took part in the session.

Gonçalo Oliveira, who is preparing with the Under-19 team for their UEFA Youth League clash against Newcastle, and Prestianni, runner-up in the Under-20 World Cup, were absent.

Recovering from injuries, Bruma and Nuno Félix did not participate in the training session.

Preparations for the clash with Barcelona

On the morning of Monday, January 20, Benfica's professional football team continued, in the rain, to prepare for the clash with Barcelona, on matchday 7 of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, were not part of the training session at Benfica Campus, which was attended by youngsters João Fonseca, Nuno Félix, Leandro Santos, Francisco Domingues, Tiago Freitas and Eduardo Fernandes. Operation Bologna: final preparations

On the morning of Tuesday, December 10, Benfica's professional football team finalized preparations for the match against Bologna, on matchday 6 of the Champions League league phase, scheduled for 8 pm on Wednesday, December 11, at Estádio da Luz. Tiago Gouveia and Renato Sanches, undergoing treatment and gym work, didn't take part in the training session on the Benfica Campus pitch, where young midfielder Diogo Prioste, from the B team, was called up.
