AF Braga, has been appointed by the Portuguese Football Federation to referee Vitória SC-Benfica, on matchday 10 of the Liga Betclic. The game will be played at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques at 8:30 pm on Saturday, November 1.

Bruno Jesus and Luciano Maia will be the assistants and José Bessa the fourth official.

The video assistant referee (VAR) will be Rui Costa, and the assistant video assistant referee (AVAR) will be Nuno Eiras.

Martim's dream came true

The lights at Estádio da Luz were already shining beyond the final whistle, but for Martim, a young goalkeeper from Aveiro, aged just 12, the game was not over yet. After Benfica-Arouca (5-0), from Matchday 9 of the Liga Betclic, the Benfica fan experienced his own magical moment. Amid hugs, shy words, and admiring glances, he met the players and coach of the first team, took photos, and received a jersey from one of his idols, Trubin. It was the Benfica Foundation and the Club's Professional Football that opened the doors to this unforgettable encounter – and Martim left with his heart overflowing.
