Benfica will face Araz Naxçivan (Azerbaijan) in the round of 16 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League. The draw held on Thursday, November 6, in Nyon, also determined that the Eagles could face the winner of AEK Futsal Club-Sporting in the quarterfinals.

Cassiano Klein's team will play the first leg of the round of 16 away on November 24 (Monday) and host the Azerbaijani team on December 5 (Friday).

The quarterfinals will be played between February 23 and March 6, 2026, also over two legs.

The final four of the competition will take place in Pesaro, Italy, between May 8 and 10.

Memories of someone who has Benfica in his heart!

Garay, who played for Benfica between 2011 and 2014, returned to Estádio da Luz. With his family, he toured a place he knows well and recalled several memorable moments with the Sacred Mantle. The former Argentine international center-back also admired the Champions Wall, of which he is a part, and visited the Museum Benfica – Cosme Damião, which has 4 trophies that he helped to win (1 National Championship, 1 Portuguese Cup, and 2 League Cups). "My heart is red. In Guimarães, Benfica overcame the resistance of Vitória SC and won 0-3 on Matchday 10 of the Liga Betclic. Playing at full throttle at the start of the second half of the match played at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques on Saturday night, November 1, José Mourinho's men pressed hard on the "vimaranense" defense and scored the goals that led to victory.
