CLARA'S DREAM

At the end of Benfica-Twente, a Matchday 3 fixture in the UEFA Women's Champions League, held on Wednesday, November 12, at Estádio da Luz, Benfica fan Clara fulfilled her dream of meeting the Inspirers.

Benfica was born from a dream and, throughout its history, has made the dreams of many come true. This time, it was young Clara's turn to see one of her greatest wishes come true.

At the age of 10, she was hit by a car on her way to training, which prevented her from continuing to play football and left her in a coma, forcing her to undergo several months of recovery. Fortunately, her improvements have been remarkable.

Passionate about Benfica and women's football, our Clara was invited to watch the European clash between Benfica and Twente, together with her parents and three brothers.

At the end of the 90 minutes, the young Benfica fan had a huge surprise, a moment of enormous joy and full of emotion: meeting and spending time with the squad.

In addition to chatting and asking the athletes lots of questions, Clara also received a personalized jersey with her name on it and a ball. Both gifts are autographed by President Rui Costa, the women's football team, and coach Ivan Baptista.

It was a unique and memorable experience, provided by the Benfica Foundation and the club's women's football team.
