Did you know that, in the past, the ball was made from pigs' bladders? And that football boots had metal studs in the sole? On a guided tour to the Benfica Museum, we'll discover these and other curiosities. We're counting on you to explore the evolution of sports kits over the decades, as well as its influence on athletes' sporting performance!
This activity is also suitable for 3rd stage (12-15 years of age) students.

A Knowledge that Engraces All
Knowledge is enriching, it has a purpose and it's present at the Benfica Museum. On this tour, we'll break new ground and broaden our horizons. Together, we'll set off to discover the writers and artists who made history in the 20th and 21st centuries, highlighting literary works and historical events studied in high school. Become the protagonists of this odyssey and, with your hand on the helm, embark on this journey towards knowledge.

SL Benfica pavilions guided tour
Where the Magic Happens
On a guided tour to Benfica's pavilions, we'll get to know the backstage and protagonists of the red and white sporting scene. The changing rooms, the press conference room, the swimming pool complex and even the storage rooms... Every space is important and fulfils a function. We're going to be where the players and other professionals who make the magic happen are, while understanding the logistics and challenges involved daily.
There is the possibility of having a Club professional present to share their experience with the class (subject to the availability of the guest department).
