Open Day to Teachers

The Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião invites education professionals to learn about its school programme for the 2024/2025 school year, presenting a challenge: explore a museum with multiple dimensions.
Throughout the day, different exclusive activities, from which teachers can choose, will showcase the Museum's permanent educational project, based on sport and its values, but not only. We'll be highlighting projects, both ongoing and new, that touch on subjects as diverse as History, Literature, Chemistry and Natural Sciences. From pre-school to secondary school, professionals will be able to visit the Museum and other Sport Lisboa e Benfica facilities as students, experiment with different dynamics and materials and reflect, together with the cultural mediation team, on the role of non-formal education in the education of children and young people.

Free visits to the Museum and Stadium for teachers and educators

During the week of 4 and 11 November, entry for teachers and educators is free on presentation of their teacher's card.
Tickets must be collected from Gate 17 of the Stadium.
