On Thursday, August 14, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football squad began preparing for the trip to Estrela da Amadora, on matchday 2 of the Liga Betclic. The match, which marks the debut of Bruno Lage's side in the 2025/26 edition of the competition, is scheduled for 8:30 pm on Saturday, August 16, at the EStádio José Gomes.
