On Tuesday afternoon, May 20, Benfica's professional football team trained at the Estádio Nacional, the venue for the Portuguese Cup final. In preparation for the clash, concentration and intensity were visible in the first 15 minutes of the training session, which was open to the media and whose best images you can see here. Ruy Castelo Branco, director of the Benfica Residential Academy, and Adriano Laaber, coach of the Benfica Residential Academy women's team, visited the Benfica Campus on Tuesday, May 20, where they had the opportunity to follow the daily activities. "The main objective of the academy is to develop the athlete with the Benfica methodology and combine the academic part with the athletic part," Ruy Castelo Branco told BTV. “Feeling and experiencing this on a daily basis, especially the energy of the Benfica Campus, is enriching,” he said, noting that the goal is to continue cementing the Club's values in the United States.
