The three-time national football champions started this Wednesday, July 19, the medical examinations and physical tests, between Hospital da Luz, Benfica Clinic and other spaces of the Sports Complex of Luz. The Inspiradoras, it should be remembered, are deprived of 10 footballers, who are representing their national teams at the 2023 World Cup: Rute Costa, Sílvia Rebelo, Carole Costa, Ana Seiça, Catarina Amado, Lúcia Alves, Andreia Norton, Francisca Nazareth, Jéssica Silva (Portugal) and Christy Ucheibe (Nigeria). Nycole Raysla (Brazil) picked up an injury and will miss the competition. "This work group shows enormous motivation and ambition for the new season from day one. We want to keep winning", highlighted coach Filipa Patão to BTV (watch video here).
