Florentino reached 150 matches for Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team, last Sunday, December 15, against AVS, in the Liga Betclic 2024/25. A member of the club since he was a U-13 player, the Made In Benfica midfielder made his debut under the coaching leadership of Bruno Lage in the 10-0 over Nacional, in the 2018/19 edition of the Championship, and, a few days later, he played his first game in European competition, starting against Galatasaray (1-2), in the 1st leg of the Europa League round of 16. He scored his first goal, also in 2018/19, in the win against Moreirense (0-4), on matchday 26 of the league season. During his career, Florentino has helped win two national championships and two Cândido de Oliveira Super Cups.
