He receives the ball, fakes the kick and... what a stunner!

In a game from matchday 1 of Groupo C of the Club World, held at Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami, Benfica shared points with Boca Juniors in a 2-2 draw. Di María and Otamendi scored the goals for the Eagles, who recovered from a two-goal deficit in the match that started at around 11 pm continental time on Monday, June 16.

This Tuesday, May 27, the Benfica Foundation and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marked World Children's Day with the participation of more than 1,500 young people.  Between the Estádio da Luz pitch and the pavilions, there were fun, educational and sporting activities, with the contribution of the various sports and the partners of the Club and the Foundation. Lively, with everything designed to stimulate the children and provide them with different experiences, this was a “very special” moment, as Jorge Miranda, director of the Foundation, told BTV. "We couldn't miss the opportunity to have an unforgettable day," he said. Representing the Almeirim Karting Circuit, Tiago Evaristo stressed the importance of “road education”. The joy, conviviality and importance of the Benfica Football Schools National Meeting continues to be felt year after year. On Saturday, May 17, the 1st day of the 18th edition of the event– which runs until Sunday - took place at the Estádio da Luz. A weekend full of emotions for the nearly 7,000 students from the 46 schools involved, who will have the opportunity to play in the Cathedral. On a decisive day for Benfica (December 8 ) in the Champions League and UEFA Youth League, João Félix returned to the academy in which he graduated. In this visit to the Benfica Campus, the young attacker witnessed the victory and the European qualification of the U-19 (with the debut of his brother, Hugo Félix), met friends and shared some moments with tomorrow's potential stars.

João Félix has no doubts: May 18, 2019, will be forever etched in his memory... and in his career! The Reconquest was the first senior title of the former Benfica number 79. "I remember every moment, every person I was with... It was the first Championship I won and it was very special. It was one of the most remarkable days of my life", he confessed in a interview with BTV.
